Dr. Lorraine E. McKinney, a native of Houston, Texas, is a board-certified podiatrist. She has been practicing podiatric medicine for over twenty-four years and has served patients in various settings, including hospital consult care, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and outpatient office care. After graduating from Prairie View A&M University, she matriculated at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. McKinney continued her training at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia, where she enjoyed serving those who sacrificed in the United States Armed Forces. Most recently, she was the podiatrist for a large community health care center in the Greater Houston area and managed podiatric medical care for hundreds of patients in five of their six locations.
Dr. McKinney has chosen to further embark on this journey of office-based podiatric medicine, focusing on patients who desire and require less invasive options of foot care. She is a Diplomate with the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry, Prevention and Treatment of Diabetic Foot Wounds and Diabetic Footwear. Dr. McKinney exudes a fervent desire to assist patients with their urgent and ongoing foot care needs, striving to help patients achieve good foot health.
